The North Texas Chapter of the Texas
Association of Play Therapy (NTC-TAPT) wants you to know about what is
available to help support you in your important work with children. Our
membership includes school counselors, licensed professional counselors, psychologists,
social workers, counselors in internship status and even students completing
their degrees in counseling. Let me tell
you about us and see if I can entice you to come to a meeting and see if what
we have to offer is of value to you professionally and personally.

We strive to offer a variety of professional trainings to meet the needs
of our membership. CEU’s are offered at the majority of our meetings. A
membership form is available to download and mail in for your convenience.
Membership runs from August 1 – July 31.

We are part of the Texas Association of Play Therapy and the Association
of Play Therapy. You do not have to join TAPT or APT to be a member of
NTC-TAPT, however, there are benefits to joining these associations.

Our meetings are centrally located in Coppell, Texas. The Coppell YMCA
on Denton Tap Road is easy access to most major freeways. Meetings begin
promptly at 10:30 a.m. and end promptly at 12:30 p.m. Snacks are provided.
· Our membership is full of friendly, caring, and very knowledgeable people. Even though the trainings are valuable, the friendships and professional support you will receive from your fellow members will give you a positive emotional lift each and every meeting! We hope you will join us very soon!
