Who We Are

Dedicated. Trained. Passionate. All For Kids.

We are a local chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy (NTC-TxAPT) and are considered a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are proud to represent the Association for Play Therapy (APT), a well-established professional society of play therapists.

We are a network of professionals and students who are interested in the therapeutic use of play in our work with children and their families. We want you to know about what is available to help support you in your important work with children and their families!

NTC-TxAPT is an approved provider for APT #99-072, LPC, LMFT, and Social Work #7602

The Lone Star Award is given by the Texas Association for Play Therapy to local chapters exhibiting outstanding service to the membership and to the promotion of play therapy and the credentialing of Registered Play Therapists. Several criteria need to be met in order to receive this award and our Chapter has received the Lone Star Award consistently over the years. We’re proud to announce that we’ve received the Lone Star Award at the 2021 Texas Association for Play Therapy Conference!

Our 2022-2023 Board.
